Franschhoek
Franschhoek Wine Valley lies deep in the Cape
Winelands and is South Africa’s very own ‘French
Corner’.  The picturesque village of Franschhoek, set
amidst luscious vineyards and gracious Cape Dutch
homesteads is truly evocative of its 17th century
Huguenot culture. Franschhoek has earned its
reputation as the “gourmet capital” of the Cape and a
fantastic choice of excellent restaurants offer
sumptuous global cuisine to tempt even the most jaded
palate.

The village main street is lined  with dozens of
restaurants, art galleries and speciality shops, and
gently winds to its focal point, the Huguenot
monument.  Surrounded by majestic mountains, with its
myriad of olive groves and vineyards, Franschhoek is a
breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil holiday
